The Beacon Program a long-term residential program for young adults ages 18 to 35 who are living with mental illness and want to make changes in their lives. People who come to the program typically stay about six months.
The Beacon House is located in Kentville, and is available to people from anywhere in the province. While here clients gain information and skills to help them in their recovery journeys.

How do I access this program?
Referrals are required to be filled out by the referring mental health team, including an endorsement from the Psychiatrist and input from the applicant. Referral packages can be found at www.beaconprogram.ca
